I think Mariana is a thousand times better than Marina.

It's nice.

It's one of my favourite names too. I think it's really pretty. I knew a nice girl in high school named this and no one ever associated her name with "a place to store boats" (not a bad connotation anyway, as I find marinas to be really nice).

I used to like it. I don't have much of an opinion on it now though.

Sounds like Marine. Which reminds me of the sea, because Marine Biologists.

I've always liked it a lot, and for a long time I thought that I liked it enough to use - the sound and the look are good and the meaning is excellent (not the meaning of 'parking lot for small craft' of course!), but then I discovered that I actually prefer Marinus for a boy.

It's nice but I have a personal negative association to it.

It's one of my favorites, and has been since I was little.
