What do you think of Delbert? Am I crazy to think that this name is super cute? I love Hubert, too. Mostly, I love classic, popular male names, such as James, Daniel, Henry and Thomas. Maybe Delbert, Hubert, etc are more on the gp side...!

It's awful. Look up "Delbert McClintock" and you'll see what a Delbert looks like.

I've always liked it. I don't like -bert, but I love Del- names. Delbert is a family name for me, so I'm used to hearing it. I think it's strong and woodsy. Anyway, I think it might be cute on a kid now, even though it's a little hard to picture.

Delbert sounds like a great name for a fictional character who's meant to be the biggest nerd of all time.

Delbert reminds me of Dilbert and people who are unhappy and have low job satisfaction. Hubert seems very dated and old mannish. Albert and Gilbert sound a little bit more like the might make a retro-hipster comeback.
