I find the sound of it very ugly and to me it has an almost aggressively masculine vibe to it. It was very popular when I was young, and often given by the kind of parents who'd shave their little son's hair almost to his scalp and make sure he only played with toy guns and trucks because he was a BOY.

It's also pretty dated here in England - I'd be surprised to hear of anyone less than 25 being named Craig.
