I used to really dislike Ellie but lately I have been thinking that it is kind of cute!
What do you think of Ellie? Do Lily and Ellie work for sisters? Would you rather see it as a nickname?

Eliana nn Ellie (not sure if this works as where I live it is pronounced more like eh-lee-AH-nah, but the first eh-sound is long and not short as in Ellie)

I like it better as a nickname but it works as a full name.
I think it too close to Lily if Ellie is the full name. If the names are something like Lillian and Eleanor, than Lily and Ellie is just fine.
I love the name Elaine, so I vote for that. That said Eleanor is the classiest imo. I also like Ellie as a nickname for Annabelle, Rosalie, Ariel, Brielle, Gabriella etc.
Elizabeth would be a standard too.

I like Ellie. I'm not crazy about it because it's a little too cutesy for me on its own, but I like the sound of it. Lily and Ellie are a little too similar for sisters imo, but if Ellie was used as a nickname I think that would work, and it would be a cute sibset.
