[Opinions] Annabel or Isabella? (more)
Replies
I prefer Annabel. Just wish it didn't make me think of evil dolls, lol.
Hi Perrine !!!
100 % Isabella!!!
Annabel seems "religious and dated".
Instead Isabella in Italy has still something aristocratic and elegant in it. Most people here would judge it "particular but positive".
It is increasing in popularity but it has a romantic noble vibe in it. Infact many princesses (Italian but especially Spanish) had this name in the past and this link i still strong I think.

Wow, Annabel seems religious? I had no idea it had any religious connections.
Hi !!!
It is my opinion obviously but yes it seems religious to me like a 1800s Puritan woman..or simply in a stricky religious family. I dont know why..

Annabel
I like the meaning and sound more, plus it reminds me of the seaside and Edgar Allan Poe (who I associate with ravens, my dad, and my sort-of-hometown).

I agree with this. Bel is much livelier.
Annabel.
Simply because I like the look and sound of it better. I also prefer names that do not end in an -a.
