I wouldn't use it myself but I think it's really cute. Totally usable! You could always use Annie as a nickname. It's fine as a first name, I would like to see it used. But it also makes a nice unexpected middle name especially with a common first name such as Chloe Anemone or Sara Anemone. It sounds enough like a combo of Anne and Mona or something to work as a first name too.
