Help[Opinions] Jadzia
So I'm watching DS9 for the first time, and in the show they pronounce Jadzia as "jad-ZEE-a". BtN says it's actually pronounced "YAH-jah". I've seen this name before but never heard it IRL and I kind of assumed it was "JAD-zee-a" until now.

3. How do you think most people would pronounce it where you live?
4. Do you know if any alternate pronunciations are "legitimate" (or at least common enough misconceptions that they wouldn't confuse people)?

Never heard of it before, but I would pronounce it as they do on the show, I guess. It's okay, but I can't imagine it in use in real life.
