I once knew a Biology teacher, not a mother-tongue speaker of English but teaching successfully at an English-medium school, who stunned her classes by pronouncing it Annie-Moan. They were perfectly polite, got out as fast as they could and checked with me and no doubt other members of the English department: I told them that they were 15 and she had a degree and a teaching qualification, so they should be able to cope, and cope they did. But it made Anemone a high-risk word and therefore name for me and I'd certainly cloister it in the mn position, if at all.
