I love it. It's the name of a character in one of my favorite novels. The character is a secondary one, and she comes to an unhappy end, but still I've always loved the name. I don't like Mary, and I don't like Anna all that much, and I don't like Mary Anne, and I'm so-so on Marianne, but I love Mariana.

I like it but worry it would be said like Mary-Anna

I love the idea of Marione or Mariane pronounced "mary-ON" but have the same problem.

For reasons that I don't know, I have always disliked it. I like Mari and I like Ana - and it looks cute - but the name just does nothing for me. I don't know what it is about it!

I really like it. I used to work with a Mariana and she was lovely

Not a patch on Marianne, and not such a good rhythm either.
