I prefer the look of Briana. Most -anna names I prefer as -ana (though I like Anna alone just fine). I think the one N spelling looks more polished/tailored; it helps me focus on the sounds of the name. The extra N just seems unnecessary to me.

I pronounce both Briana and Brianna as bree-AHN-ə, unless I know the bearer is a bree-AN-ə. Bree-AHN-ə sounds more pleasant to me.

I'd be slightly more likely to think a Briana was pronounced bree-AHN-ə and a Brianna was pronounced bree-AN-ə.
