Love it. I do think of tabby cats, but it's not a bad association. Love the nns Tabby, Tibby and Bitty, too.

Sarah Jessica Parker has a DD with this name so I think of that connection and obviously the little girl in Bewitched.

Beatrix Potter! A little cat - Ribby - decides to entertain a dog to tea, because she is "infinitely superior company to Cousin Tabitha Twitchett" (or maybe Twitchit? I haven't read it to anyone for quite some time). And, as a corollary, tabby cats. It sounds nice, it looks pretty, but I expect its owner to miaow quite regularly.I much prefer Talitha.

I think of cats. Tabby cats. Which is, I suppose, a bit predictable. It's elegant, yet down to earth, and spunky, but solid. I'm a fan. I love Tab and Tibby as nicknames.

Double Post - please ignore (sorry)Exotic, then, that I wish she had more nick-names. I still enjoy the name--nevertheless...

I love Tabitha! It has a fun, energetic, bubbly feel. She's not exactly my style, a little dated, but I really don't mind. I was actually thinking about how much I'd love Saffron and Tabitha as siblings. Also Tabitha reminds me of cats; I'd be tempted to use Tabby, Cat, or Kitty, and I'm not even a big nn person haha.

I think of a nineteenth century farm girl with long blonde hair wearing a sunbonnet and milking a cow. That may not sound nice, but it's a nice image for me.Next I think of a little girl witch because of "Bewitched". That's not a bad image for me, either. I love Tabitha.
