I think of a dog or other pet, and I dislike the name. I think it sounds sort of cartoonish and limp. And the feeling doesn't go away even when I've met a real kid named Milo.

I love Milo. I do think of Milo and Otis first but I don't think it's a bad association.

I like it as the name for a little dog or cat.

Names ending in O are popular right now, so a lot of people will like it. It makes me think of something you'd name a pet. I Prefer Miles.
