I find it tacky, probably because of the Jasmines I've known. And the overwhelming Disney association. If it wasn't for my associations I'd probably find it pretty since I love Jessamine.

I really don't like it. It's the 'sm' in the middle - a very ugly sound to me.Jessamine or Jessamy are much more attractive

I love it. I know a lot of people think it's dated, but since it's floral, I don't think it dates. We considered this name for our DD, as it suited her and DS#1 loved it.

Like the plant itself. Very pretty, very fragrant, but overpoweringly sweet.

I actually knew a girl in elementary school by the name of Jasmine, and I've always thought it was a lovely name. However, if given the choice between this spelling and the original Arabic/Persian spelling of "Yasmin", I prefer the latter.

I love flower names, but this one is a little too stripper for me.

Jasmine is nice, but it's too common and kinda dated to the 90s.

I love the flower, but the name is a bit 90s and maybe a little tacky. I don't mind it though, but I think I prefer Jasmina or Jessamine.

It's okay. I'm not a huge fan.

I like it, but I do find it a little boring. I prefer Yasmin.

Normally, I'd love it. Jasmine is one of my favorite flowers (and my favorite floral scent). However:1. The name is overused in my generation (90s kid), even more so when combined with its common variants Jazmin, Jasmyn, Jazzymine (which I have seen), etc.2. Most Jasmines I've met, no matter the spelling, have had attitude problems.

I love it! I have ever since I saw Aladdin. I think Jessamine is cute, too.

I like it a lot. I think it's a beautiful flower name and very elegant. I also like Yasmine. I have heard quite a few people say that Jasmine is tacky. I guess that's because you see many different spellings of it: Jazzmin, Jazmyn, Jazmin etc. and because it is a bit 90s. It did have a rather short run of popularity which makes it kind of trendy, I guess. I still like Jasmine very much. My other favorite flower names are Rose and Lily.
