[Opinions] Morven
I've recently fallen for Morven (though think I could ever use it as surname is Morris?) So what are your thoughts on Morven? I'm liking Morven Elspeth Freya, though we have no Scottish roots~ Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry ~

I like it a lot but yeah, it would never work with Morris. Unless it was [othername]-Morris, maybe.
I love Morwen so I have to rate that above Morven, but they're both very good.
Morven Elspeth Freya is a great combo too!

Morven Elspeth Freya is terrific. Freya is Norse, no? So the "all Scots" thing isn't really a thing. Unfortunately, Morven Morris is a non-starter. She wouldn't thank you. Maybe Morven as a middle name where it can do no harm? Morven reminds me of Morwenna and Muiris, two personal favorites. Warm and friendly, but also slightly mysterious. I don't know how they meld those two attributes. :0)

It's pretty ugly, tbh. As Scottish names go, I like Murron and Mhairi.

Morven Morris is a bit frumpy, especially when paired with lispy Elspeth. Freya feels so weird next to them.I wouldn't worry about a lack of Scottish roots though, people without any Welsh connecions have been using Megan for years.

I really don't like it. It sounds harsh and comes across as masculine to me. I never would imagine that it was meant for girls. Elspeth is significantly better even though I don't really care for it. Freya on the other hand is lovely. The best name out of all of them. If I were you, I'd ditch Morven and just use the other 2 names

I love Elspeth Freya, but I am just not loving Morven. I want to, I like similar sounding names, but despite it being a legitimate girls name, I can see people, upon hearing it, thinking it's Marvin and assuming boy. I know people's assumptions shouldn't be a reason to not use a name, but it makes me not care for it.
