[Opinions] Harriet
WDYT? I met a 5 year old whose name was Harriet the other day."A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty."- Winston Churchill.

well I love it, I think it really suits the little 5 year old! I would put with Lily/Lili as a middle name. What are your thoughts on Harriet Lili/ Harriet Lily which spelling do you prefer Lily/Lili? I like Henrietta a lot too, but I think its a bit too long and fancy that I wouldn't use it right now, although it could grow on me.

I so dearly love Harriet! One of my top girls' names I'd actually use. Such a beautiful, classic name, timeless (also with the bonus of not being overused). Hattie or Harry also seem great nicknames to me. Combos I would consider are along the lines of Harriet Ada Elizabeth.

Never liked it. It sounds rough and harsh and angry.Harriet the Spy is a perfect Harriet.

I absolutely despise the name Harriet. I think it's so ugly.

I've only met one Harriet in my life. I don't know why more people don't use it.

I love Harriet, though I prefer Henrietta.I predict that Harriet will continue to rise in popularity (following the trajectories of Charlotte and Violet, for example).

I don't care for it and it sounds completely out of place on a modern day child. I actually prefer Henrietta even though that's dated as well but I find that has a beautiful quality and ring to it. Also softer. More usable

I like it a lot, I think it has a lot of sweet spunk. I'm not the biggest fan of the sound and don't like it enough to use it right now, but I could be swayed.

It doesn't appeal to me personally but I think it will appear in the top 1000 by like 2020-2022. It's ready for a comeback.
