It's a nice name, but a bit cliched now in the way that Grace is. I don't think having the name Faith by itself would saddle anybody with religious connotations, unless they decided to throw a pity party for themselves and attach more weight to the name than it carries. It would be their upbringing and environment that would be the main factors in influencing any religious or anti-religious feelings, much more so than the name.
