It means 'fortune, change, fate, good luck' and it was a Ancient Roman goddess too.
It is prounced for-TOO-na.
In Italy in 2015 were born only 5 babies with this name.
But I really like it for its clear and immediate meaning (in Italian it has exactly all those meanings). It is also augural while it has a long history behind it.

Hmm now I have 'O Fortuna' in my head. I can't see it being the name of a real person.

Hahaha! It's a great piece of music, though. I once sang it at a big arena in Stockholm with my choir and lots of other choirs. It was a "wow" experience.

It doesn't work in English very well. It sounds like it could be the name of a car. In fact, I'm not sure it hasn't been used like that.
And of course it sounds exactly like "for tuna" or "four tuna." Nobody wants tuna fish in their name.
