[Opinions] Re: 21 Old Fashioned Nicknames for Girls That Make Charming First Names
in reply to a message by queenv
The ones I like enough to use as first names:
Georgie
Effie - although it is very nicknamey.
Ones that are usable but not really my style:
Libby
Polly
Winnie
Billie
Hattie
Lottie
Ones I like but would only use as a nickname:
Sukie
Tessie
Essie
Ones which are ridiculous:
Bizzy
Birdie - I noticed three of them in the 2016 chart the other day.
Dovie - how is this a nickname for Deborah?!
The others I don't really have much of an opinion on. Trixie is just really dated. Goldie is a dog's name but I wouldn't be surprised if someone had it as a nickname if it fitted with their surname or something like that.

Deborah = Devorah, perhaps?
