I absolutely love the name. I get that some might think it's frilly or stuck-up, but cheap? Absolutely not. It has been around since the 17th century and it's very sophisticated and, as you said, elegant. It baffles me how anyone could think of it as cheap, to be honest.
I'm always reminded of my favorite author, J.R.R. Tolkien because he named his only daughter Priscilla. And he was a man of great taste, that's for sure :)

Yeah I agree that I can see frilly and stuck up but not cheap. I wonder why anyone would view the name as sounding cheap?
