[Opinions] Hattie?
Thoughts on Hattie? Do you like it on its own or as a nickname for either Harriet or Henriette / Henrietta? What middle names would you recommend for it? What other names could it be a nickname for?"Your goal in life should be to make your past self envious of your current self""Be kind, please rewind" - an ancient proverb

I don't like it. I don't like the long forms either. It's so fusty musty outdated school marm I own 25 cats wear Victorian collars and crochet hats for birds on Etsy - which is fine, if that's what you're into.Hattie Mildred

I think it's awful! It's the one thing that puts me right off Harriet, which otherwise I like a lot. (Henrietta/e is too frilly.)

I hate it. It sounds ridiculous and scraggly to me. I think it should also be a nickname, but I also dislike Harriet and Henrietta.

LOVE! Both Henrietta and Henriette are in my top choices. Henrietta Mae is the combo I'm loving.

I have a real soft spot for Hattie. It's just so cute. But I'm not in love with Harriet or Henrietta, and Hattie is way too informal to stand alone. I guess, if pressed, I'd choose Harriet. Henrietta is a name for a chicken.Wouldn't sisters named Hattie and Eloise be adorable? I'm all the sudden in love with this idea.

I don't mind it as a nickname for Harriet or Henrietta.

I like it! I would only use it as a nickname though, it feels a bit 'empty' otherwise. My favorites are Harriet and Henrietta, and I would probably use Henrietta of the two because it sounds less harsh.

Hattie is really cute. I had a Dear America book with Hattie as the main character's name and it gave me a soft spot. I think it can work as a full name, but it works better as a nickname for Harriet. I think Hettie is better for Henrietta.I don't know how usable any of these are, but a few other potential full namesHaggith
