Birdie is just too much, in my opinion. I like most bird names (Wren, Kestrel, Raven, Robin, etc.), but "Birdie" sounds both childlike and old fashioned: and seems like it should be a nickname for a girl from the 19th century.

I would think Micah Everette is a boy.

I agree Maguire and Elliot for a girl are awful. I've given up on Elliot, though. There seem to be quite a few little Elliot girls where I live.
