[Opinions] Leah and Liam?
Replies
How on Earth could you tell those names apart when hearing them called across the house or yard? These poor kids.
I am fine with some themes for twins or some degree of name similarity but Leah and Liam sound so similar I think if their parent ever calls them from the other room neither will feel certain who they want and both will have to come. Also my mom sometimes confuses my name which is Marisa with my sister Nicole or with my aunt Mary, I think she would constantly confuse our names if they were that similar. I would never do that to my children especially if they were twins.
I love the name Liam but it is too popular for my tastes. Leah is nice enough but really bland, there are so many more interesting girl's names I'd prefer to use.

It'll make it easy for them to ignore their parents! "Sorry, Dad, I thought you said *othertwin'sname* will be the perfect excuse.
As names go, I think Leah got lucky. Liam has never appealed to me and I suspect its hour of glory might be fading. Not in the US, but elsewhere! Leah and William would have been much more to my taste.

Way too samey for siblings.
Way too similar. It's beyond cheesy and it must be confusing for the parents.
Ugh
Let's call our twins Oliver and Olivia. Or Aaron and Aaliyah - the first two names we see in the book. That's how much though we'll put into their names.
Okay, sorry, maybe the parents genuinely liked both names but PLEASE, surely even non-name nerds can see how similar those names are! Too similar for siblings let alone twins.
