I hate it for a girl, so pretentious and unnecessary plus it sounds more like an over the top nn than a name. It also sounds slightly more masculine than feminine but I hate it for a boy as well. Blake is much better than Blakesley, I actually like Blake for a boy or a girl. Even Blakely is better than Blakesley.
