i like it most as a middle name, but wdyt of it either way? would you be able to pronounce it? and what about the nn Draha or Mira?
i love Draha a lot because it also means "dear" is many languages. and it's very similar to "drága", which is the word for dear i grew up knowing. and like any of these?Drahomira Helena
Drahomira VivianAlma Drahomira
Agneza Drahomira
Dorotea Drahomira
Ludmila Drahomira
Luiza Drahomira

Love it! So many Czech names have excellent meanings, and Drahomíra is no exception. I'd use it in a heartbeat if I had the heritage to pull it off.

I like it, I really do, but my immediate thought was diarrhea and I felt it was worth mentioning.

It sounds pretty in theory, but I'd never be able to pronounce it. I do like Mira as a nickname, but for Miranda.

I like Agneza Drahomira.

Hi Foxgloves !!!So you are from Slovenia maybe? It is a beautiful name although I prefer the masculine Dragan with the same root.It is not so difficult to pronpunce as I'm Italian. Often the English names are much more complex for me.I love the combo Alma Drahomira.
But with Drahomira as first I suggest you...Drahomira Lidia
Drahomira Neda
Drahomira Olga
Drahomira Livia
Drahomira Jana
Drahomira Silvia
Drahomira Zara
Drahomira Zoe
Drahomira Stella
Drahomira Viola
Drahomira Rosa
Drahomira Lala
Drahomira Nives
Drahomira Luna
Drahomira Lilia
Drahomira Iris
Drahomira Frida
Drahomira Flora
Drahomira Ester
Drahomira Gioia
Drahomira Bianca
Drahomira Agata

i'm hungarian and romanian, actually (drága is hungarian, though it's the same in romanian w/ another accent), and my gf's family comes from many different slavic countries. Alma also means "apple" in hungarian- i'm not gonna raise a child in this country, but it's a cute additional meaning to me so ngl that's why i like it so much. i like:Drahomira Zrinka (would love Zrinka as a first name even! poor anglo Americans though lol)
Drahomira Zlata
Drahomira Olga (would use Olga as a first name though idk if my gf would like it. would probably make a joke like we shouldn't name another kid Helga then)
Drahomira Irena (though Irene is my favorite girl name, so wouldn't use Irena as a middle name for another kid)
Drahomira Vesna
Drahomira Vera
oh btw- you responded to my Silviu thread...i didn't get to reply then, but thank you for your input on that. you mentioned Radu as an alternative- how common is Radu, do you know? i may still use Silviu as a mn. i also like Sibiu a lot, after the city, and that won't be confused with otehr names like Silviu would.
