[Opinions] Re: Top 10 for November
Delphine Amalia Pearl - Gorgeous, very Victorian.I prefer Sylvie Allessandra Fay of the two, because I think the name flows much better than Rosaline Fay.Marguerite Adèle Claire - Outside of France or a Francophone location I wouldn't use the accent grave, otherwise this is French gorgeousness.Odette Catharina Snow - I like the look of Odette and Snow in the same combo, but don't like the flow of Odette Catharina. I feel like Odette needs a middle name that begins with a vowel.Saskia Émilienne Rose - I love Saskia Rose! Not a fan of Émilienne, though, sorry. (Also, unlike Odette above, I think Saskia needs a middle that begins with a consonant. Maybe Saskia Rose ______?)Félicie Anaïs Camille - Félicie might be difficult to get to work anywhere, really, but Anaïs Camille is lovely.Evelina Lily Juliette - Very L-heavy. And Evelina Lily is a little too liquid for my liking; but I like both Evelina Juliette and Lily Juliette.Anouk Mélisande Eve - Eve looks like an afterthought here. Anouk Mélisande is perfectly all right by itself.Mirabelle is one of the quintessential "princess" names, to me. Sometimes I like it. Sometimes I think it's just... too.Maddalena is not usable outside of Italy, I don't think. It really emphasizes that the name begins with "Mad," imo.Marius Raphael Felix - Yeah, I seem to be much more conservative with my male names, because this is all too much for me, lol! More Renaissance than Victorian. Can't say I'm a fan of Marius, but it flows well with Raphael. Felix at the end is just weird, though. Especially the "ph" of Raphael paired with the F of Felix, that's bugging me.Hugo Sébastien Pierre - Very French. I generally prefer Hugh to Hugo (though they're both miles ahead of Hugues), but Hugo Sebastian is very nice. Pierre is a bit much at the end, however.Maxime Leonardo Jules - Jules looks so out of place, sorry. Yet even though the names aren't my style, Maxime Leonardo does have a certain ring to it.Lucian Valentino Rémy - Again, Rémy seems out of place and doesn't match the others. Lucian Valentino is very... Roman, actually. Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

Thanks for your comments! My MN has an accent and it works out fine. Sometimes I use it and sometimes I don't! I tend to like repeating sounds and mixing different styles / origins. My SO and I have a lot of German (me) & Italian (him & me a little) heritage. Mirabelle gives me different vibe than most people I suppose, it reminds me of medieval times.
