[Opinions] Skyla
What do you think of Skyla?

Not a fan.
There's a Pokemon character named Skyla (she's the Flying-type Gym Leader in Pokemon Black and White), so the name reminds me of Pokemon.

I like it more than Skylar (which I prefer on a boy). It's supposed to mean "learned one" or "sheltered" or something like that.

It doesn't happen where I live. I find it silly and since I'm familiar with Schuyler and its pronunciation and meaning, it also seems ... I don't know exactly; like an error that somebody can't be bothered to correct.
I’m really not a fan. It just seems like a way to further feminize an already feminine name (Skylar), and it also seems really trendy / dated to me.
I think it's a brand of birth control:

YAYYYYYYYYYYY you finally made an account!!!
Anyway, not sure how much love the name Skyla will get on here, because, at least to me, it sounds pretentious. I much prefer Skylar.

Yeah, entering the 3 letter code each time I made a post was getting annoying.
I don't expect for the name to get much love. I don't like it either.
