[Opinions] Edmund and Rosemary?
I've just started reading The Chronicles of Narnia, and they've really started to make me appreciate the name Edmund. I like it better than Edward, which I've always liked well enough but not intensely. Also, I've been struggling with my favorite girls' names lately, and I've realized that Rosemary is currently in high favor with me. However, I always fear that Rosemary is just too much of a name for someone, and while I like many possible NNs, I would personally want to stick with just calling her Rosemary, unless she adopts her own NN herself. Also, is it too "Rosemary's Baby?" I've never even seen the movie, but it seems to be a rather strong "mental image," if you will, for others. So, WDYT of these names? I also really like the names Miles and Arthur; do they all kind of "go together?"(I really put too much thought into these things for someone my age, LOL.)

Both names are nms, but the four (Miles, Arthur, Rosemary, & Edmund) do sound good together.
From the Chronicles of Narnia, I love the name Peter, & Susan is growing on me.

Rosemary is one of my favorite names unfortunately it's not a very usable name for me. I've met a couple Rosemarys over my lifetime and they've gone by Rose, Rosie or Rosemary so I think it's definitely possible to use the full name Rosemary instead of a nn. If I was able to use Rosemary I would most certainly use Rosemary and not Rose or any other nn.Edmund, along with other "Ed" names have never really struck my fancy. I think Rosemary, Edmund, Miles and Arthur all fit together quite fine imo.

Love them! Edmund is my favorite Ed- name, and Rosemary is definitely one of my favorite Rose- names (directly under Rosalie). They go together wonderfully, and with Miles and Arthur--what a wonderful set! I have considered Rosemary as a top favorite, but also worried about the "Rosemary's Baby" connection. I think in years to come, most kids won't know about "Rosemary's Baby" so if you love it, I don't think it's a connection that should keep you from using it.

Edmund and Rosemary sound nice together. Arthur is nms but it does work with Miles, Edmund, and Rosemary. Rosemary is nms but I like Rosemarie for some reason. How about Rosalie?

I love Edmund. It's so wonderful! Rosemary is gorgeous as well, though I prefer Rose, Rosalie, or Rosamund, which I completely and utterly adore. I don't know of the "Rosemary's Baby" association!Edmund and Rosemary go wonderfully as a sibset! It actually reminds me of a sister set I know: Edie and Rosemary. Close, huh?Miles and Arthur are wonderful as well. It looks like we have similar taste! Suggestions:Miles Arthur
Arthur Miles
Edmund Arthur
Arthur Edmund
Miles Edmund
Edmund Miles
Milo Edmund
Edmund Milo
Milo Arthur
Arthur MiloRosemary Jane / Rosamund Jane / Rosalie Jane
Rosemary Kate / Rosamund Kate / Rosalie Kate
Rosemary Isadora / Rosamund Isadora / Rosalie Isadora

You "youngters" just keep impressing me with your good taste in names...(m)No, I'm NOT being sarcastic. :) I just wish I had such good taste when I was a pre-teen/teen. I now shudder remembering the names I *loved* back then. LOL.

Rosemary, Edmund, Miles and Arthur do go well together. Rosemary does not seem too long of a name to me. I like Rosemarie too. I've also heard of Rosemarinus which is a little too much.
