[Opinions] Re: 10 Italian feminine names
in reply to a message by Felie
Rebecca --Lovely name and definitely usable in English. I'd hesitate to use it because I hate Becky, though.
Roberta --Irredeemably frumpy.
Patrizia --Definitely better than Patricia, but still pretty frumpy. Pronunciation would be a battle in English.
Cinzia --Is it CHEEN-tsya? I don't think I like it but it could maybe grow on me. Pronunciation would be a total disaster in English.
Olga --Really unattractive.
Francesca --A perfectly good name that does nothing for me.
Rosaria --I love it. So beautiful and underused.
Rosa --Beautiful name.
Camilla --Nice but I prefer Camille and Camila.
Claudia --One of my top 5 most hated names ever. It's so incredibly ugly.

Hi !!!Yes Cinzia is CHEEN-tsya.
I agree with you that could be very hard to pronounce in English.
I dislike it because it is frumpy and has a bad sound as you know. From this list I really love Rosa (my great-grandmother's name) and I also like Olga that seems so light and aristocratic because of the Romanov imo.I would like Patrizio because I'm keen on Ireland (so use Patrizio instead of Patrick) while Patrizia is frumpy.Other names are too overused or boring to me.
