[Opinions] Rosalind vs Rosamund
Once again, I’m torn between some names... Opinions?

I have a good friend called Rosamund. She goes by Roz, but often people affectionately call her Mundy. It's lovely.
Rosalind is less fiesty.

It's partly a pronunciation issue, I think.
I've always heard ROZalind and ROSEamund; although I love the Shakespeare reference, I've had a very bad experience with a Rosalind which has pretty much spoilt it for me. And though I don't much enjoy the thought of 'horse protection' (who's protecting whom?), I do like the Latinised version of Rosa Munda or, preferably, Rosa Mundi! And as a nn I prefer Rose to Roz.
The other issue is the spelling. I just don't find Rosamund attractive, but I'd willingly have named a daughter Rosamond.
