Eva because it is less popular and I love the nn Evie.
Also in Spanish Eva sounds like English Ava so if you like that pronunciation you can just use Eva. My mother's cousin's daughter is the Spanish pronounced Eva.
Truthfully I love both pronunciations that each name has so I love both names and the main reason just comes down to Ava being way too popular while Eva is not yet too popular.
