It’s been five years and the number of grandchildren continues to grow rapidly. Edgar and Katerina are now grandparents to a total of fourteen! Now both approaching sixty, Edgar and Katerina have both retired and began traveling and spending more time doing things they love now that all of their children are grown.
Sadly, Amabel and Henry’s marriage fell apart four years ago when Amabel found out Henry was having an affair. It didn’t come as much of a surprise since their relationship was really bumpy in the couple of years leading up to the split. Since Isobel was only four when it happened, Henry and Amabel both agreed that it’d be best not to tell her anything until she was old enough to understand. Henry sees Isobel often but Amabel generally avoids speaking to him as much as possible. Since then, Amabel met a wonderful man named Luciano and they got married two years later. Always wanting a large family, Amabel decided to get pregnant again and gave birth to two beautiful baby boys, Mateo and Flavio. The boys are both four years old now, and Amabel has resumed her work as a now licensed veternarian. Luciano is a wealthy businessman who is often required to go out of state to meet his work demands, so when he’s home Amabel and the kids make the most out of it. Isobel was weary of Luciano at first, but she now shares a close connection with him and refers to him as “papa”.
Opal and Aria are still extremely excited and content with their twins Carson and Madeline. Carson is outgoing and plays soccer while Madeline is sweet and shy. They are adorable!
Quentin decided to get back into the dating world now that Zoe is getting older, and last year he married a lovely woman he met at his work, Emma. Edgar and Katerina love Emma and are very happy for the couple.
Skyler and Elisa decided to have another child now that they both feel they are ready. They thought it would be nice to give Zoe a little sister, but they actually ended up having a beautiful baby boy, Alex! They are absolutely ecstatic.
Esmeralda and Noah’s family continues to grow. Two years ago Esmeralda gave birth to a lovely little girl named Demelza. Noah also proposed to Esmeralda shortly after the birth of their first and currently only son, Levi.
