Because Donda is dowdy, and not the least bit cool, or trendsetting. People expect them to use Donda with every kid, and it just ain't gonna happen.

Everyone's like "why not Donda?" -- because it's ugly! (Chicago's not exactly cute sounding either but I'd rather be Chicago than Donda in 2018). And not everyone wants to honor. Kanye can love his mom without using her name on a kid.
Plus, he has a company named DONDA, the Kanye West Foundation has been renamed as The Dr. Donda West Foundation, and he founded another non profit called Donda's House. The lady has been honored.
