I feel the same way about Kimberly. It's a name that is just there. It's bland and tasteless, another surname turned into a name.
Kim is similar to me. I see a 30-40 year old receptionist with the name, perfectly ordinary.
Kimmy reminds me of the really annoying character on Full House. I can't take it seriously at all.
