I love Jennifer - especially because it is Guinevere / Guenièvre // (among other variations), although it isn't--and the more it isn't, the more it is, just as Jen / Jenn / Jenny is also, one of my favorite pet names, Gwen: a perfectly modernized yet utterly traditional classic.

i'd probably love it if it was less common in my age group/in media about my age group. it doesn't have the timeless feel yet that say, Anna or Victoria has. so i guess what i mean is that it's dated, but i don't think that's a bad thing or a deal at all, it just means it's nms.

I like Jennifer, Jenny and Jen. Wouldn't use any of them, though. Not because they're dated or whatever; just that there are lots of names I like better.

I like Jennifer, Jenny, and Jen. Jen is friendly, to me. I have no idea when it will be popular again, I'm bad at predicting things like that.

I really like Jennifer! I see it as kind of a new classic. Unfortunately because it was so popular it probably won’t come back for a century of so. I’m thinking 2100-2115.

I never liked the "fer" ending. Jenny is a nice nickname, though. I like the nickname better than the full name.

I was just thinking about how Jennifer ruined Jenny. I love Jenny but due to the popularity of Jennifer i wouldn't use it.

Oddly enough I do like Jen. Several friends of mine go by it and it makes me think of upbeat, energetic women.

I've known so many wonderful Jennifers. There really does seem to be an abundance of good Jennifers, more so than other popular names like Jessica. I don't love the name Jennifer, but I can kind of see its appeal. It's kind of spunky. I don't like Jen, but I do love Jenny. I don't think it'll come back in style for quite a while though. It's a mom name right now.

Jennifer is a lovely name on its own. I'd like it more... if it hadn't become "the new Mary" of the second half of the 20th century, where every other baby girl was being named it.

Right now it's #273 - still in use, but becoming quite dated. Maybe in 100 years it'll surge again.

Its my moms name. I prefer the form Guinevere / Guenièvre, though. They have the same roots but ones more elegant and mystical.
