Liliana — delicate, frilly woman who is traditionally feminine in the extreme. Loves heavy makeup, showy dresses, and big, gaudy jewelry, giggles a lot.
Lilia — down-to-Earth, professional Italian woman. Probably a business owner. Appreciates beauty but isn’t defined by it.
I definitely prefer Lilia.
