I remember seeing it in posts a lot when I joined this site (about 10-12 years ago), which stuck out to me because I'd never seen it used and the only one I'd heard of was Evangeline Lilly. Probably because of that, and the fact that it's gone way up in the (US) charts since then, even though it's still not that common, it strikes me as a bit trendy. Other than that, I really like it...it's got a V, an *ine ending, and a positive meaning, and I tend to like names with those.

I tried to think of how to describe the vibe I get from it...and all that's coming to mind is being outside during a sunshower...in comparison, Emmeline would be more like sitting in a musty library listening to rain on the roof.
