Lotte, the eldest of the three Jensen sisters, is often called the most boring. To many, her life as a dentist living alone is pretty dull, and she's often asked if she's lonely. However, she spends a lot of time in the company of her friends, and doesn't really see the rush to find a man. Sometimes her mother pushes her to put herself out there and go looking for the love of her life; Lotte, on the other hand, says that she's only 32 and these things will sort themselves out.
Lena, the middle child, has always been known for her kindness. She has always been the one who goes the extra mile to help others and always mediated arguments between her friends and family. When she left school, she realised that teaching was her passion, and she trained to become a nursery teacher. Her boyfriend since high school, Harrison, had supported her through all of it, and the pair got engaged six months ago. However, a few weeks later, he told her that he'd got a fantastic new job in America and he was moving there in a week's time. Lena didn't want to move, but said that she'd be more than happy with a long-distance relationship - Harrison didn't agree, and so the two broke off their engagement. They still text occasionally, but Lena is doing her best to put him and the heartbreak he's caused behind her. She focuses on her work and her family and friends, and agrees to let her younger sister Emilie move in with her.
Emilie is the youngest sister, currently living with Lena. She considers herself a little bit of a free spirit, and her passion has always been for literature and language. She started working on her novel, Wanderlust, during her final year of university. She hopes to one day become famous for her stories, and in the meantime, she publishes poetry to pay the bills. She's pretty happy with the way her life is - if she could change one thing, it would be the heartbreak that Lena went through. Emilie has always been very close with Lena, but her relationship with the older Lotte has always been a little strained.
