Addison met her boyfriend Marty on a connecting flight home from college one holiday. He’d been going to a friend’s wedding, and on the flight, during which Addison and Marty were seated together, they’d struck up quite a conversation. They started dating long-distance, as they lived several miles apart, but they began to see each other in person two months later. The two of them had sex just a week after that, and they’ve just welcomed their daughter Bridget. She’s the apple of both her parents’ eyes, especially Marty’s; he’s convinced she’ll grow up to be a daddy’s girl.

Ian and Sofia have also welcomed a new addition. Max, now two, had been a pleasant surprise after Sofia had had her tubes tied; as such, they wanted his middle name to mean something along the lines of “gift” or “surprise”. They settled on Jonathan in the middle slot, which means “gift of God”. Max is a very smart toddler who keeps Ian, Sofia, and all three of his siblings on their toes.
