I like the name, it has a really nice sound to it. However, I'd never use it, as I think naming a girl born in summer, Summer is incredibly cutesy, while giving the name to a girl born in the middle of winter doesn't seem right, either.

I DO NOT like the name Summer. It reminds me of some snotty, goodie 2 shoes girl w/ died blonde hair that's really air headed.

Summer is one of my all-time faves

My next daughter would be Summer Siena. She would have the ln Sands, so she'd be Summer Sands. :D

Yeah, I think the brightness has something to do with it :-)
But, thinking again, a cute little girl with even brown or red hair would work for Summer. I just picture a little girl with pigtails and a sundress on.
