I used to love it. I still like it but I probably wouldn't use it.
I think it's pretty and has a "clean" or "shiny" feel to it. There's a gemstone and a plant but the plant is so shiny and deep-colored that it still retains the gemstone-like associations. It's pretty versatile as a middle name.

ETA: I think of it as feminine but the sound isn't really feminine. I think it works well in some combos for boys.

I think it’s pretty. For some reason, I used to think it sounded mean, though I don’t remember what gave me that impression. I know a 20-something girl named Jade as well as a 50-something guy with the name, and I like it for either sex.

I like it for a girl. It is simple, pretty, and doesn't sound too "airy" if that makes sense.

I like Jade. I don't think it's a favorite on BtN, but I've always liked its attitude. The gemstone doesn't hurt, either. I think it's pretty.
