[Opinions] Icelandic Names from a book by J.K. Stefánsson

I have a soft spot for Icelandic names.
Ásbjörn is a name I'm used to where I'm from, but with a different alphabet. It sounds strong and grown-up (if that's possible).
I've never heard of Gaui before, and I don't know what I feel about it.
Gerđur sounds a bit harsh. I like the meaning though.
Munda sounds sweet. It kind of reminds me of a good cake or tarte for some reason.
Tekla is cute. I used to know a girl named Thekla.
I've always been fond of Sigmundur. It is strong, just like Ásbjørn.

Hi Caprice !!!
I read what you said about the Icelandic girl.. it is a horrible thing that also children are unpleasant with their friends. But it is her fault and she missed a friend without a reason why to do that.
About the names..this time they are not so interesting. I prefer the Scandinavian Gerda to Gerđur while Munda has a nice meaning..but a very ugly sound.
