Elowen (and Elowyn) are getting popular in the US and will probably be on the chart in a year or two. I think it's pretty too but wonder how many are being named Elowen and then being called boring old Ellie all the time.

I've never heard Nolwenn before. It's ok but I like the other two better.

Beautiful names, all, but Nolwenn is my favorite - It sounds quite sweet & magical and just rolls off the tongue. Second would be Elowen; however, I would keep in mind that it (el-O-en) will very likely be mispronounced but will be the most familiar of the three at least. And then Olwen is my least favorite, only because it doesn't sound quite as pretty as the other two in my opinion. No matter what you decide, though, you can't go wrong.

For a girl, Elowen. (Love it, can't wait to see it charted some year) The other two come across as masculine to me. Olwen would be my second choice but for a boy though

Olwen - 10 :) Obviously I love this name. It's soft but not weak, it feels simple yet distinctive, and the mythology behind the meaning is really beautiful too.

Nolwenn - 8. I think this is really nice as well, just doesn't quite have the beautiful simplicity as Olwen, and the meaning's a bit more mediocre.

Elowen - 5. It's pretty but the El- sound being so trendy right now makes it seem a bit more generic than the other two, and that makes it lose it's charm, to me.

I think Elowen has the prettiest sound, but I also like Olwen. Nolwenn sounds a bit odd to me.

My favorite is Elowen. It sounds like the name of a princess. The other two just seem weird to me.

I like them all.

Elowen - 8/10 - I like names with nature meanings, and I think it pairs well with lots of names; the main drawback to me is the popularity of El* names.

Olwen - 7/10 - I tend to like O names in general, and I think the origin is interesting. I don't like it as much in combos, though.

Nolwenn - 7/10 - I like that the Nol reminds me of Noel, but I don't like the meaning all that much.

Elowen. olwen sounds ugly to me and Nolwenn sounds strange.

Olwen, then Elowen, then Nolwenn.

I like them all (I like Nolwenn Leroy!), but I think Olwen is my favorite. It has such a lovely meaning.

I love Elowen & Olwen equally. I would probably be more likely to use Elowen just because it's "safer". I just couldn't see my SO digging Olwen at all - the meaning is wonderful though. Nolwenn is nice but has never really stood out to me like the other two have.

Out of this list, I prefer Nolwenn. It's likely to stay rare while El- and Ol- names are trendy right now and will become popular and dated. The meaning of Nolwenn is also best, IMO.
