[Opinions] Eliza or Eve
I’ve recently fallen in love with these names. I think I’m leaning towards Eve, but I just want to see which you all prefer and why.

Eliza. Has more zing.
I LOVE Eve! I also like Eliza but it hasn't made it onto my long list whereas Eve has featured in my top ten a number of times over the last couple of years.
I love the simplicity and beauty of Eve. Three letters and 1 syllable and yet nobody would dispute this as a full name.
As a child, I had a friend named Eve though mostly we called her Evie, and I sometimes called her E.
Evie is becoming more common in England (as are most "-ie" names) but I prefer Eve.

I prefer Eve.
I understand the appeal of Eliza but to me it seems sort of graceless and overbearing compared to elegant Eve.
Also I don't really like it when names start with unstressed El or Al or whatever. Uh, it sounds like "uh Liza" in my accent. Eh, so it's like every time I say it I'm ah, hesitating.
