I saw the name Janice and read it the normal Janice way. The woman says "It's Jan-ees" Have you heard of Janice pronounced like that before?

The ee is long as well.
I saw that in Italy Janice is used but very very rare. No more than five Janice/year were born here.

I haven’t, but that is how I used to pronounce it in my head, when I had never heard it out loud and had only read it in books.

No, I have never encountered that pronunciation for Janice. I have known two people named Janice. One was a very elderly lady with a passion for gardening and the other was a college student. Both used the Jan-iss pronunciation.
I like the name with the more typical pronounciation, but the Jan-ees sounds harsher.

Actually, yeah! I used to know a Janice prn. Ja-NEES. It was weird trying not to say JAN-iss lol

Oh yes, I have, because telemarketers have sometimes pronounced my name that way. Usually, the ones who have done so have had foreign accents, so being foreigners, they may not be familiar with the name. In their case, it would be understandable, but there have also been a few who sounded liked native born Americans asking for "Jan-EES".
When I took French in middle school and high school, we were called the French equivalents of our names. I was told mine would be Janice but pronounced Jan-EES.
Actually, I think that pronunciation would be a big headache. Other than foreign, foreign born, and a few maybe American born telemarketers, nobody has thought that my name is pronounced Jan-EES. And it's enough of a pain to correct the people who think it's Janet. I already have to say, "No, it's Jan-ISSS" to them. I'd hate to be saying, "No, it's Jan-EEES" to everyone else.
I've never known another Janice who pronounces it Jan-EES.
