[Opinions] Re: Feminine names with “masculine” nicknames?
in reply to a message by Cayden
In general, I am not fond of boy names for girls. It makes it seem like the parents really wanted a boy and that being a girl somehow wasn't good enough, but nicknames are a bit different. Many nicknames seem like a type of self expression and are more unisex, sporty, fun, or endearing. I don't care for the examples of Charlie, George, or Toni. Are their girls who go by George? I've heard Georgie before, but Georgia is simple enough that most people seem to use the full name.
