I like it, especially for a girl.
I would only like it for a child born in another season. If they were actually born in winter, it sounds like the parents had no name ideas and it was better than Female/ Male.
I can't decide. Some non-namenerds would probably find it too wordy and I understand why but "Winnie" definitely helps. I wouldn't actually mind it as my own name.
