-I don’t necessarily think it would be weird for babies born in non-winter months. I have a friend named Winter who was born in spring and no one really thinks much of it. Not everyone named June is born in June. Winter works as a name year-round.
-I think it works as a name as is because of the use of other seasons. Summer and Autumn are common as names, so there’s no reason why Winter (or Spring) wouldn’t work.
