Love it! I used it for the main character in one of my recent stories (a K-pop fanfic), and I think it fits her perfectly--she has auburn hair and is very outgoing and friendly, which is what I picture a girl with the name Rachel to be. Even I'm surprised Rachel isn't in my favorites list. lol

I like it okay but have always far preferred Rebecca. And I do like Becky, also.

I love Rachel. I especially love the history of the name.

I do still know a few young Rachels, there is one in Miriam's school. (Rachel Elizabeth)

I love Rachel but it seems kind of dated. I honestly prefer Rachael (it seems more complete to me), but I think if I were to use it as a first name I would just stick to Rachel.

I've always thought it was quite pretty. It's one of the few biblical names I feel I would actually use. I really love the "chel-" sound.

I like it. I’ve never seen it on a little girl, so it would be refreshing to me to see that.

It reminds me of my neighbor who I hated and I hate the sound of the name for some reason as it has a masculine edge that my favorite spelling, Rachele, doesn't, but the history of the name Rachel is lovely.

I think Rachel is a classic. Sweet and solid. Not frilly, but not tomboyish. A very balanced name. I personally am overwhelmingly influenced by a dislike of the Friends character and don't love it, but I honestly never met a Rachel who was anything, but kind, intelligent, and genuine in real life.
