[Opinions] Mauraine
Mauraine I kind of like, now that you mention it. I'm not big on tweaking spellings and such but I could live with that. Sound-wise I don't like Maureen, and visually I'm not huge on moraine, but smushing them together is a little more name, a little less geography. I was banking on people not particularly knowing what a moraine was, but darn you all for not letting things sneak past you. :-)

Heh. For some reason I can't explain, that word was one that stuck in my head from the first time I read it. I still remember the photograph of a moraine in my text book, in fact. Weird. Maybe it's because the word sounds / looks so nice? I do like the -aine ending too.- chazda
