The year is 1942. Thomas is now four. Nellie has just had a set of twins! They are fraternal girls. The family was shocked, but excited nonetheless. The first twin is named Margaret Lucy. Second twin is called Maureen Yvette. The babies were born on July 4. Older brother Thomas has taken a liking to caring for Margaret. They become very close.
